Toe-iiiii

We were playing hide & surprise the other night, you would run around the living room through the dining room & your bedroom your dad and I were "hiding" in front of the couch. YOu stopped and started yelling Toooo-IIIIIII. And you kept pointing at we thought was Arnie, so we kept asking you What? Finally you said it again TOOOOOO-IIIIII and then your closed your eyes very tight. Then we understand you were saying Close your eyes!!!!!!!

Attached is the art project from Adelaide's first day at early arts. All the kids put there finger prints on their friends but Adelaide SCCCRREEAMED (that is how her teacher described it to me) whe n they tried to get her to finger paint. So on all her friends they just drew a circle where her fingerprint should have been and wrote her name. Today (her second day) her teacher said she was able to get her into the room where the other kids were painting, let her watch (while she clung on for dear life to her teacher) and that she did finally pick up a paint brush and paint her school bus. Oh my sweet girl, it seems to early for me to have taught her these things, so I am going with Genetics on this one b/c when I was in preschool I also refused to finger paint b/c I didn't want to get my hands dirty.

Yes I am very happy with your new school so far. When they asked me what I wanted to accomplish this year I said to make you feel secure enough to take risks and have fun, and just be a happy carefree child. So far so good :)
